I love #Mastodon and I don't like the for-profit social media. However, I still have my old FB account which I visit maybe twice a year, and I haven't posted anything to it for many years. Still... I have a few friends on it and I'm thinking of hesitantly re-engaging there just a little so I can reconnect with some old friends. I know some here will say I should tell my friends to be here but that's highly unlikely to pan out, I mean just being honest.
