"content": "Beat the new Hellraiser game last night, uhhh its quite good ngl, id say the best point of comparison is RE8, not RE7 btw, that would indicate its spoopy, i mean it is, but more in the way RE8 is, mechanically its very much like it, which ig is why i liked it, quite nice running around the labrynth tho, all the weird ways it changes and stuff, wish we spent more time in it tho :Cirno_Shrug: i also liked that the cenobites arent enemies you kill or even hurt, that wouldve been stupid, instead the games enemies are cultists and other monsters from hell. Storywise, its quite decent id say, very straight forward story, protag seems to be a druggie who chases thrills with his gf, they open the box, cenobites get her, you wind up trying to get her back while running away from cultists :BlobcatShrug: as the story goes on the protag makes a deal to be of use to the cenobites in exchange for his gf, hes then questioned about his relationship with her and if its worth it bc she mightve been an escape and he prolly wasnt that in love with her, and shes free to do as she wishes when shes free, he says idc, shes freed, he finds out he was used bc she wanted to be part of a ritual with the cenobites, so you can either choose to say \"fuck that hoe, imma stay on earth and make my own life\" or you can make out with the female cenobite whos actually interested in you and join them as a new cenobite bc its another way to fill the void\" sooo its not bad, i was expecting some gay neutered story but nah, moral is to stay away from cheap thrills and girls like the gf :Jahy_Laugh: also mid game i noticed a boss was voiced by a tranny, and is a tranny lmaoo, but its ok bc hes part of the degen sex cult and you kill him and he, and no one else in that cult gets sympathy, the main leader is even mocked by the cenobites bc he claimed he was chosen by them and he was to be the next cenobite. Instead they turn him into a hideous monster, and called \"prey\" to be hunted by you lmao, so uhh yeah, its gorey and fun id say, prolly bc clive barker was involved",
