I needed to take the kid to a birthday party and then pick her up. Instead of waiting for her somewhere, I went to the nearby park and ran 27 km in 3:17 (7:15/km pace). :-D
If the birthday party was a couple of hours longer -- who knows, maybe I would have reached 42 km? ;-)
