If humanity were capable of creating a pandemic that would really be a super killer, we would not be here any more.
A virus can either be a super spreader or lethal. It can never be both at the same time.
Viruses also naturally evolve into becoming less and less harmfull, the less harmfull a virus is, the more it will spread. That is the natural evolution of viruses.
The deadly ones are small and contained.
