I am not interested in the retributive side of the justice system. We should provide only the minimum of ersatz revenge for people. We should use evidence-supported methods to make offenders less criminally motivated. And keep violent maniacs off the streets. And sociopaths out of boardrooms.
I like the Swedish punitive measure näringsförbud, where you're simply forbidden to operate a company. What's that in English?
