I think we've made a lot of myths about these LLMs and agents. The myth that are wise, the myth that they might become all powerful, the myth that are a short cut whereby, intellectual work of the past we can do that work for free or only for the cost of the electricity.
None of this seems to be true, but these systems do seem to be able to hook people, make them addicted, lead them into an endless hall of mirrors.
