@annakatarina A classmate just returned from a visit to Minnesota, you know, one of those far up north places, you betcha, and she mentioned Bemidji, where the wild rice grows.

That reminded me of a book of large Minnesotan sculptures, and I got that down off the shelf to give her and lo and behold, what do I see in there? A large sculpture of St. Urho, who has speared a grasshopper with his pitchfork. That leads me down another rabbit hole and the next thing you know I am speaking Finnish!
