when all democratic and legal options/institutions have betrayed the very people who make a government mandate mean anything at all (in liberal democracies), then what else is there to do, honestly? I've been wrestling with this idea for awhile. The violence is a symptom of violence meted out, in too many ways and for too many years, on the people. It's an inevitable reaction. History has so many examples. It doesn't have to be this way (history has alternative examples, too).
