My bag toilet does not stink.
I cover my 💩 with a combination of wood ash from my UCO (if I have it) and/or dried coffee grounds which I always have.
I've also, in dry weather, cleaned out and rehabilitated people's camp fires at free campgounds and used the dry ash. Top tip: if a long drop is super stinky dumping some ash down it will kill the smell and, being organic, this ash will cheerfully continue to decompose.
If you have access to neither, grab a bag of paper based kitty litter. All other litter will have to go in general waste.
