Watch out if you have a Lloyds Credit Card (other banks likely to be equally cheeky feckers)
If you pay for flights on the card (UK airline website, paid in GBP, so not a foreign transaction or anything) they class that as "cash" and start charging interest from day 1 rather than the usual 30-56day window for all other purchases....
As soon as I said thats ridiculous though she immediately refunded all the interest charges for the last year as "good will" so they know they're blagging
