Found this little one washed by the surf near Chapel Porth on the north coast of Cornwall. Best guess is a grass snake but wasn't sure enough of ID to pick it up. IT got caught by a wave once so the second time it stranded I encouraged it away from the waves and proceeded to usher it towards the cliffs as the tide was coming in. Can anyone give a definitive ID?
