Interesting. Most people working on palaeo sea levels regard the existence of MWP1A as being well established. I attended one presentation about 10 years ago in which the speaker questioned whether the data really constrain the extent of the rise and timing as tightly as widely reported. I understand that there has been some revision of estimates of the magnitude and time limits since then but I haven't heard of anyone calling existence of the event into question. I'll be interested to see your final conclusions.
