#PhantastikPrompts 10 July: Do your characters have meaningful names? What do you look for when naming them?
I've been having a lot of fun researching old words that aren't really used anymore, and using them for character names.
And in one world I'm writing, many characters have "prayer names". So, if you wanted the Gods to give a child fire magic, you might name her Ember. Every time her name is spoken, it's a prayer for fire magic. Of course, not all prayers are answered.
