Had anyone else suffered from the delusion that Phil Lesh was once a good singer and the quality declined over time?
I just relistened to American Beauty and was sad to learn that this was not the case.
I am afraid to listen to that 1966(7?) "Early Morning Rain"
Didn't David Crosby sort of school the boys on holding a note around this time? Did Phil skip that meeting?
