does carpet mod actually do the same thing? as far as i can tell, it has a similar-ish thing for spawning "fake players" (which is now just a vanilla feature if i'm not mistaken?) and you can control them with commands.

but that's not quite the same thing as- and not as survival-friendly as Unplugged AFK, where *your player character* is replaced by an idle bot upon "unplug" and you repossess it when connecting back again.

carpet mod is great. i love it. but it's mostly a creative mod, is it not?
