I’m beginning to realize that post secondary education is almost always built to exclude people with disabilities.
This is ironic. The courses I was most looking forward to next term? 75% group work. Weekly in-person group assignments, a large term group project, with an in person presentation.
No thank you. As someone living with multiple disabilities, I CANNOT do that. There is no room for accommodations either with that format.
FFS. 🤦🏻 I’m tired of the pre-term panic of “will this course include me?” that I go through every 4 months.
