When he brings this up, I always ask "well, what do you do to stay in touch?" and I never get an answer.
Also, a big difference between the rest of us calling our parents vs them calling him is if WE are the ones calling THEM, we are expressing to them that they are valuable parts of our lives.
Does he just expect endless support from our parents for the rest of their lives while doing nothing to affirm their importance to him?
