The framing of Fauci invoking the 5th Amendment as "refusing to answer" is deliberate and bullshit.
Don't get me wrong: I think Anthony Fauci is largely responsible for the ongoing COVID pandemic, along with both of his bosses and their political parties.
But it's his *Constitutional right* to invoke the 5th Amendment to not answer questions under oath. He's not in contempt of Congress. He's not "refusing to answer". He's answering.
Just not how they want him to.
