Just seen someone locally we haven't seen in ages. One we were walking along the road and she stopped for a chat. We chatted for a while and then she said, apropos of nothing, "I do have my bucket in the boot."
We looked at each other, baffled by what she meant, and why it was important for us to know this vital information.
Maybe it's a variation of knowing where your towel is; always have your bucket in the boot.
