#fensterfreitag #windowfriday The Oud tower as it is now, but not as it was (designed in 1967 by engineer J.J.P. Oud). In 2014 I photographed this building so often inside and outside and in puddles. And I created all sorts of patterns with it in Photoshop. But at that time, the tower was threatened with demolition. The office spaces in the triangular tower were too small to convert into apartments. A few years ago, however, the tower was expanded and raised by 10 percent by removing all the walls and building new walls around it, exactly resembling the old ones, but only a few meters away. Now they are chic short-stay apartments. The difference is undetectable. I find it incredible that something like this is possible, and I'm glad it happened. The tower belonged in our neighborhood.
