they genuinely believe that if they pay for the tokens, their will be a Cambrian explosion of great new software. And, I mean, 3x is a productivity explosion rarely seen in software development (going from punch cards to teletype to interactive terminals, those were 3x jumps, at least, compilers, too, but it's been a long time since we had one), but it's not what a lot of executive believe is happening. They're thinking 10x is conservative. I've even seen "1000x" suggested.
