How many local PD's in the area sent officers to the FAA's training on drone (UAV) detection tools?
ANYBODY can watch a car drive by, and see whether its licensed.
ANYBODY with a cell phone can watch a drone fly over, and see whether being legally operated under FAA RID rules. Are they? Are the police? Nope.
Anybody educating the public on how to tell? Nope.
During and in the region of firefighting ops, no drones are legal to operate. Enforcement methods exist. Our taxes paid to develop those methods.
Where are they?
