Agree, survivorship bias. What am I going to do about it? I don't have that kind of ability, or power.
This is a bit of a whataboutism though, being outraged at the state of the internet, can be like outrage about cars.
Should we ban cars? YES. Do disabled people need them? YES. It doesn't mean both can't be true. If you can't think you can exist without the internet do what you must to keep live. I'm not above recognising that there are people who need these things.
