We just got back from dinner with our neighbors on the hill, which is always a challenge with our still-limited-even-after-all-these-years Italian. My poor RFL can't seem to master that whole double consonant thing, so he ended up calling the wife his "penis friend" instead of "pen pal." It's funny now, but there was a very long awkward moment while her husband ("Cosa?") tried to puzzle that one out. #Umbria
