- I was quoting 404 Media, which was saying that a company is offering to buy old books for AI companies, "upholding these physical texts as uncorrupted by shoddy AI writing that’s already polluted so much of the internet (and indeed, newer books)."
Now, either the company said that, or it didn't. If it didn't, 404 Media should not have pretended they did. Heck, I'll check to see if they did. But it's a separate issue from whether these old texts are *actually* better because they're "uncorrupted".
