The Tory leadership campaign has been a “spectacularly dismal” affair, says Rod Liddle in The Sunday Times. Still, we are at least down to the final four. The frontrunner, Kemi Badenoch, will almost certainly win. Then there’s Robert “Generic” Jenrick, and “Tom something”. And last on the list is James Cleverly, described to me by one senior Conservative MP as “a walking affront to the Trade Descriptions Act”.
