As a practicing Catholic, I share your views on this issue. Unfortunately, when you take a stance on some hot-button issues, there will always be people who will want to lash out and push you away. It is regrettable that some of those who disagree with us aren't willing to engage in a dialog or just accept the fact that my friend feels differently from the way that I do.
