I am apparently to the N of you, near F.C.
It's my first year trying to really make use of this garden, but it's been brutal. My tomatoes don't look comparable. All my cantaloupe sprouts died off during a hot day in early spring, despite aggressive watering. The only thing doing REALLY well are my kabocha pumpkins... which is good, as they are excellent for curries and Japanese dishes.

I'm going to have to do MUCH more as far as mulching and adding organic matter into the local soil...
