For emails, Instead of clicking, unsubscribe, from emails at the bottom or whatever, block the sender. Half the time, companies don't honor your request and those unsubscribe links have tracking in them / on them. also, what some will do is unsubscribe you from that thing but secretly sign you up for 30 other things instead, so block the sender instead. If it's a service you use, see if account related emails come from a different email, and then block the marketing email address that's emailing you garbage. I wouldn't mark it as spam. I think all spam filters don't work well, nor do I think they work at all anyway, so better to block the email address fully. #Email #Tips #FediTips #EmailTips #Tip
