I’d never suggest that they just pull themselves together either… the storm they will have to endure has been brewed by forces far more subtle, powerful and nefarious than our accident of birth. Said forces were tamed by WW2 but are resurgent. I would argue that Boomers are best placed to notice and therefore warn about the decline of our children’s prospects. Alternatively, do we just smile and wave on the way to our grave?
