Michael Crick posted to Twitter a few days ago that he'd heard from people at Channel 4 News that they had conducted a sting operation on Reform.
Specifically that they'd got an actor to pose as the son of a hedge fund manager, and seeking to make donations to the party. Which he speculated they would release right before the Reform conference this week.
Not long after he posted this, he was one of four journalists banned from attending the Reform conference.
