I have young people starting out I give this bit of advice when they ask about working and jobs.
About 50% of workplaces are terrible. From soul sucking to outright abusive. About 40% are OK. You do the work and it pays your bills. About 10% are truly outstanding - good work and good management.
Stay only as long as you can in the first. Use it to get to the second one that will tide over until you find the third.
Just understand the third kind will inevitably, over years or decades, slide down to the second and finally into the first kind. Exceptions are extremley rare.
Never get attached to your workplace.
