#ScribesAndMakers 7/21: "Tell us about a non-fiction book you've enjoyed."
I'm very fond of Norbert Ohler's "Reisen im Mittelalter", a German nonfiction book about traveling in the Middle Ages. While the first part describes traveling as such in general, the second part focuses on various medieval accounts of journeys in detail (including a really wild story from Merovingian times about a rather heroic cook who lets himself be sold as a slave in order to rescue his employer's enslaved nephew).
