Another way to see is: would you rather use cash/card so the machine keeps feeding itself or wait a bit and cut the middleman?

That would be beautiful if the stores would simply NOT collect taxes nor record it. Then this would make some difference. Otherwise, my question above is meaningless on the tax side, but not on the “investment” part.

What I mean about investment: if you don’t like to eat burned bread, the only way you can stop the bakery from baking them, is by going to another bakery and buying from there. Don’t like woke? Stop paying and consuming things that benefit from it (Netflix, Spotify, YouTube).
