It is not necessary to demonise people you disagree with. Just disagree. There are enough people I agree with politically that as people I really don’t think hold those positions out of any moral drive to do good without constructing everyone who disagrees with me as malicious demons. 😬
It’s so tedious as well. How is anyone going to change someone else’s mind if they assume everyone who has a different opinion must be evil. What’s the point?
