I’m learning how to use the WLED open source library to control LED strips of addressable RGB LEDs. WLED also supports music reactive LED strip control modes.
I’m wiring both the front of my house and my patio with these LED strips, and can plug audio sources into the WLED controllers to cause music reactive behavior with no apparent reaction delays. You can also schedule modes, and each LED receives a custom signal that includes color and brightness.
I was thinking it could be cool to generate something on a browser that could tie into the WLED library’s SPI signal to cause SVG based simulations in a browser.
