I often post positive stuff about The Matrix.org Foundation (npub1m9z…whzq) here, for the same reason I'm bullish about ActivityPub. Decentralisation FTW!
But I do share the concerns about the dominant position of Element (npub1tcc…4342) Inc. within Matrix Foundation, and the reliance on its staff for flagship software and protocol development. Especially with Element being UK-based, making it subject to Patriot Act style spying laws passed in the UK in recent years. See;
