When people ask me what I miss the most from France, my answer is usually the countryside (most of Japanese countryside is just sad), medieval stuff (castles, villages, etc.) and food (yeah, sure Japanese food is delicious, French food is the most deliciousest), but in the food topic there is a subdivision (not everywhere in France, but in my home area, definitely): an abundance of dirt cheap and delicious local fruit. And it's not in that shop that's well hidden and that you need to know. It's in every single supermarket.
