'Diplomacy' is doing a lot of heavy lifting there.
I'm talking about the wholesale shipping of dark, christo-fascist money into countries to fund far-right agendas, the destabilisation, or even para-military, overthrow of democratically elected governments, the conducting of proxy wars in foreign countries / regions (eg the Middle East), the illegal invasion of Iraq to facilitate the rape of oil resources.
The US intereference in the Brexit fraud-a-rendum from the likes of Koch and Mercer is well documented.
None of the above can be described as diplomacy.
It's imperialism.
