It was often claimed that you can hear a difference between the old, new and emulated SID chip. Can you perhaps let me know if you notice a difference? I “only” grew up with an 8580 in a C128DCR and can only vaguely remember the SID chip of the original C64 in our household. So I have little to no reference.
