Oh yeah forgot to share this moment from my appointment yesterday that made me laugh. I'm in the exam room waiting for my allergy doc to come in. She's talking to the medical assistant. She says something to her, and all I hear the medical assistant say is "Does she need help changing." The doc responds no she does not. I just bursted out laughing because for some reason many people in the medical field think blind people need help changing. This has often been my experience. It just makes me laugh now. No I I can take off my t-shirt, bra and anything else ever required for medical treatment. Also, we aren't deaf and can hear you when you are just a couple feet away. #blind
