Even their liberals are not materially different than machine politicians from say Massachusetts. American wars, conquests and blatant exercises of so called "soft power" have always been cloaked in some form of racism or "white man's burden" logic. We are fighting "them" because they are "backwards and primate" and no matter what we do to them it's "justified" because "they" would do worse to use and hate our freedom.

None of that flies when applied to Canada. I don't know how you sell this.
