Tucson people, just in case you didn't know, if your AZ income tax is going to be over $495 (single) or $987 (married filing jointly), you can donate up to that amount to Casa Maria soup kitchen, which is a fantastic organization that feeds people very efficiently, and get that money right back in your tax return. Casa Maria is needing to feed a lot more people than usual lately. Do not consider me as a source of tax advice if there's any question. Brian, who runs Casa Maria, is getting older. They're also working on converting old hotels into housing these days. They also meet needs for clothing, showers, vaccines for people and dogs, and advocacy with the city. I used to volunteer there, and was constantly amazed by how Brian keeps a complete inventory of which food is where and needs to be used by when in his head, and gets it out to the community, both housed and unhoused. https://casamariatucson.org/ https://azdor.gov/tax-credits/credits-contributions-qcos-and-qfcos #Arizona #Tucson
