I think BTC is completely captured but for the moment I agree it is still functioning as medium of exchange and store of value. But the evil forces can do with it whatever they want at any moment because they control the miners. I also think its price is already controlled too. If its in their favor they can increase price, if not they can crash it or they can increase the supply etc. What we see them doing is actually using BTC's old reputation to shill stablecoins CBDCs.
