I've really enjoyed your recommendations Chris, thank you!
A while ago my good friend Elio Pace asked me to name my favourite album. I deliberated for days before reaching a decision. The album I chose is 'Bob Brookmeyer - Composer & Arranger' by the Mel Lewis Orchestra and featuring Clark Terry. The music, recorded live at The Village Vanguard in NYC, is truly extraordinary. Have you heard it?
