Some numbers from Strive's own 8-K (filed today) that help answer that:

- 6,182 BTC bought Oct 17–23 at about $82,732 each, taking it from 36,818 to 43,000 BTC.
- Class A shares went up about 3.27M that same week, so there was dilution. But bitcoin per share still rose, from about 29,700 sats to about 33,800 sats per effective common share (43,000 BTC / 127.3M shares).
- The money came from stock, not loans. Bitcoin Magazine notes it has no bonds or credit lines. The catch is 7M new SATS preferred shares paying 15% on a $100 stated amount, which is roughly $105M a year in dividends if the board declares them. The 8-K also shows about $504M in cash.

So as a shareholder, the questions are whether sats per share keeps growing faster than the preferred dividends cost, and whether you're fine with that much BTC volatility.
