Natural law is a reference to moral law; how humans ought be …this is not to be confused with the law of the jungle, which does involve violence.

So whether it seems natural to behave in alignment with the NAP or not, is not exactly the meaning of “natural” within “natural law.” It is merely moral law given to us by God/ the Creator / nature or whatever you believe in.

…Nonetheless, if you’re desperate to argue from a purely logical standpoint, I’m sure you’d instinctively think it wrong for a random stranger to punch you in the face, unprovoked. If you were to hold that act as wrong, how could you argue it right if you were to do it? Either punching another randomly unprovoked is wrong or it is not, as we know contradictions are false.

Finally, since you mention “derived from…” Natural law/ the NAP is derived from an understanding of self-ownership. Since each human owns themself, no other human can rightfully infringe on another’s self-ownership rights.
