For most of us privacy while using decentralized peer-to-peer money is everything. Ofc using BCH without it is cool but sometimes you need to "hide" your wealthy from prying eyes and using privacy on BCH can be very gratifying.
You don't need to change chains to be private you just need a Electron Cash wallet and do your fusions. Unfortunately this is only available in this wallet but in future it will be in another wallets or get privacy on-chain! That is also in agenda.
