i agree here. I love uxn/varvara for what it is. How it takes a very different look at software than even most FOSS projects and especially for how it makes imperfections like beautiful through its core design. It inspires me to play around and try funky stuff.
But at samesies it couldn't replace the tools I'd need. Or at least I'd need to severly limit myself in a way I'm unsure if it would be acceptable then. :/
Maybe someday the idea will evolve ^^
