I generally agree with you, and I appreciate your efforts to educate Americans. However...
I don't think it's a binary question, of either "wooing the center" or "massive strikes and civil disobedience". We need to push hard with ALL nonviolent tactics.
For many people, tv coverage of demonstrations, strikes, or civil disobedience evokes a powerful desire to crush "those other people". Strikes can succeed when most people have empathy, but is that true at this moment?
